OUR MISSION

A gap exists between the scientific community and the general public. We publish papers, generate data, and present at conferences, but sometimes we forget that these discoveries should also be accessible to the people they ultimately impact.

Scientific research is often locked behind technical language and limited access formats, which makes science less accessible, and therefore less equitable.

Sci Scribes is a platform where PhD students translate complex, cutting-edge research from different disciplines into clear, accessible summaries in lay language.

Ultimately, Sci Scribes aims to encourage curiosity and help research get to the audiences it is meant to benefit, opening the door to science for everyone.
